I am blogging by iPhone. Surely, that’s some kind of status symbol. Or, I should say, it would be were I not currently traveling by Greyhound on this lovely Memorial Day Friday. Don’t pity me too much, though. The recycled air smells like peanut butter cups. That more than makes up for the parking lot that is Route 95. Also quite exciting is the popemobile-like Plexiglas cage encasing my driver. While I do wonder if it’s bullet-proof, I am not so curious as to wish someone would try it out. Speaking of Popemobiles, do you suppose any artists have yet created mobiles (the hang from your ceiling kind) made out of Popes? Not real ones, of course, just paper cutouts, Shrinkydinks and the like. I’m thinking of making one for my brand-spanking-new niece. Her mom (my sister) loves Jesus, so, you know, she could either love it or hate it. But I’m willing to take my chances. I think it would go quite nicely with her Winnie the Pooh motif. Besides, if that won’t put the baby to sleep, I don’t know what will.

Maybe you could have one with bats (stuffed, of course) as well called the Batmobile. Timely (”The Dark Knight” is out soon) and probably just as scary.
I think you’ve found your new profession.
No Pope Mobiles for the brand-spanking new niece. However, I’m sure she would love some Auntie time in the future.
BTW Motrin, Vicodin, and Dermaplast cocktail is great gift for the recovering mom.
